Mustang was indeed a pre-meditated gear up landing Gainesy, so far as I can recall both main gear legs refused to come out to play! I think damage was relatively light.
Saw a pic years ago of a Greek PA-31 with Q tipped prop blades - except they hadn't been done professionally by Colemill, but by way of a low pass (allegedly!). At least one tip was bent forwards.

I wasn't on board, but there is a well-known story of the Shak that was doing radar homings to the buoy in 807. The radar op called 'radar u/s' just as the crew called on top 'now, now, now' only to find that the aircraft had hit the buoy and knocked off the radar 'dustbin' sitting beneath the aircraft!
