She looks a bit tall to fit in that cockpit!
No problem, the Harrier can take a pilot and his ego, so whats 'er name would easily fit in.

ISS? No - I was too busy to bother doing ISS myself! Gave a few chums the odd helping hand though.

Presumably you mean an 'evening', rather than a 'night'....?

Angel

Jealous as hell but she comes over as a very pleasant young woman with a fabulous body and looks. If anyone is to get a ride in a Shar then why not Jodie. It will generate great publicity for the fish heads.
In my next incarnation I want to be a beautiful woman as I am a bit fed up of being a 67 year old, slightly obese and balding, retired pilot with over 13,000 hours but never in one of Hawkers finest - except in the sim.
Damned if I will refer to it as built by BAe Systems.....!!! Sounds like one of those "dot.com" outfits that will go "tits-up" any time soon.
Cheers,
Trapper 69
PS - Those who know me might amend "slightly obese" to "fat b***ard" - ah well the truth will out.

Dearest Jag-chum,

First of all, I do not claim, never have claimed, and am unlikely in the near future to claim, that I am a pilot. Indeed, even the professional side of things can be a bit of a stretch sometimes. However, I have survived on these forums for several years now, provoked lively debate, and thrown my tuppeno'th in every now and then. My profile is there for all to see, and does not hide behind some Walter Mitty fantasy.

What I do enjoy, is a bit of banter, which this particular thread has collapsed into. It's a harmless bit of fun, pointing out how much easier it is to massage a fast jet pilot's ego and blag a ride in a pointy thing if you are blessed with the looks and personality of Miss Jodie. I am pretty sure she didn't go looking for it, so to speak.

I am now stacking sandbags into a small shelter into which I can repair awhile.

I am right about the heating oil thing though - it's only right.

Jodi Kidd, dressed in lingerie covered in paraffin would get my vote for a ride in a T8 any time.

WEBF, shouldn't you be getting this merged into the Sea Jet thread, to get your monthly Stats up?

Oh and that would be a Marine Cross Dressing Pilot by the way!

STANDTO i haven't read your profile but i'm guessing and, forgive me if i'm wrong, that if the Navy chose to fly you in the back of a T8 you would also be a ble to provide them with the same as Miss Kidd.
i.e. 1. Huge amounts of free publicity both on local and national news raising awareness of the RN's current drive to recruit pilots into the Fleet Air Arm and in particular fixed wing aviation.
2. Appealing to the kind of age group that the RN are trying to recruit, both boys and girls.

I'm sure that if you are able to provide this as a result of flying in the back seat of a T8 then the boys down at Yeovilton would be willing to fly you !!

It's not really that much of a stretch of the cells to work out why she was chosen and the benefits of doing so?! Personally i think it's a bit of a PR coup to get an ex supermodel who wouldn't get out of bed for less than ten grand a day to help the RN out on their recruiting drive.

I might be able to supply a slab of beer and a tin of shortbread?

It wasn't exactly heaps of publicity though, was it? a line or two in Yeovilton Weekly.

I've got to accept it - Jodie is just better looking than me, and is always going to get the breaks.

BTW boys, I hear Michelle McManus is quite interested in promoting the Service north of the border...............................

( I hope we aren't taking this thread to seriously. )

So that's what Henry is up to now... nice to see nothing much has changed...! Thinking back a bit, wasn't it Henry's old VW Beetle that went up in smoke on the lawn outside the old Valley Mess...?!
