The latest design looking for acceptance by the LAA/PFA (Whatever its called this week
) ran into a few snags during its certification test flight.
or
Fred was deeply upset by the claims that his permit aircraft looked more like a toy than a 'proper' plane.

"Senior RAF engineer confirms that this aircraft is definitely fit to fly."
Coming in at number two is Mr Oli-The-Original with the splendid:

But tonight's star prize goes to . . .

Yes, it's Mr Tricorn with the magnificent:
"The AF/BF was not going well, and still the bowser hadn't turned up!"
