Wannabe's - There is hope!!
I know that the current climate isn't ideal for those of us aspiring to join the RAF, but there is hope! After several years browsing, asking, applying, I have been awarded a bursary as a pilot. Guys, stick at it, focus on only one thing, and work your a$$e$ off!!

I'm off to OASC very soon. I was only saying to friends last night, that in the current climate, I'm waiting for a letter from the RAF saying all applications are being cancelled to clear the back log.

Recruiting will still continue alright, for cooks, engineers, admin staff and all the branches the RAF is desperate for.
It will almost stop however for pilots just now, with only a few getting in. Those who do should therefore see it as an even greater achievment.
