That photo looks very familiar.
Rumour has it that it was bought from a scrappy for under £7k. The new owner then placed it on the market for £45K.
Apparently it is substantially complete, but is missing all of the avionics/instruments, needs a new canopy and requires nozzles for the engine (which is still installed).
Check out http://www.everettaero.com/ and look under aeroplanes.

I don't suppose "John Farley" could be the John Farley could he? If by any chance it is, then he might actually know a thing or two about the Stovepipe..........

Mmmm, with Dunsfold only just up the road from Chichester, West Sussex and some of his other well informed posts on threads relating to the Bionic Budgie, my guess is, an apology is required.
Now come on unwiseowl apologise to Mr Farley!

I'm with Wholigan on this one - so no need to use up bandwidth with any apologies so far as I am concerned.

I find the location quoted on eBay a bit worrying:
"Item location: LOCATED IN ENGLAND
United States
Ships to: United States only "
I know that Tony does pretty much what George says but I didn't realis(z?)e we had finally merged our great nations.
Vive l'entente cordiale!
