Lyneham Radio!

It's the 1st April 2004, and that can only mean that Lyneham AM will shortly be on the air!

Actually, I'm quite looking forward to tuning in. Good luck to all those raising their heads above the parapet!

Can I request

Learning to Fly (but I ain't got wings) - Tom Petty

Jimmy Mack (When are you coming back) - Martha Reeves

You been gone too long - Nina Simone

Simply the Best - Tina Turner

Monty Pythons Flying Circus - Theme tune

And similar.

Thanks!

How about......................

'What a Waste' - The late great Ian Drury

'Radio Gaga' - Queen

Now all I have to do is think of song titles relating to a fancy, retina burning, road safety hazard, displaying some bl@@dy hoorahs desire to get an equestrian team going. As if there isnt enough horse sh!te at the secret wiltshire airbase as it is!

I thought that sign was a cunning ploy by the Med Centre to drum up business by blinding you (especially at night) as you came off the roundabout.
