Ladies.

It appears that there is a NATO-wide shortage of handbags. Will all those at a Secret Wilts Airbase please stop whacking each other round the head with theirs and carry their sandwiches in them or something - you are wearing them out too quickly!
To think - I actually wanted to get posted there at one time!

What happened there Danny? (Mod's?)

...Now, I know I've been at the sauce tonight, but I swear I saw a post from ABIW just before I posted this, and now it's GONE!....Is he the first to overstep the mark re: Danny's announcement??

ABIW,

Looks like I may have missed one of your gems. Would you please consider reposting in perhaps a more moderate fashion. I know that it won't quite be the same but I hate to think that I may have missed out on something !!

Regards to all,

E5.

ABIW,

"it's much better sport watching the paranoid ramblings of "audi" ...."

Does this suggest that someone is intent on replacing ISITD at the top of the "manic" table ?

E Bloke,

Not quite in the same "barking" category as either of the mad pongo's but I do think "audi" needs to "step away from the computer" before she has a break down

Anyway off to work as RIAT needs a 4 ship fly thro'

ABIW............Nice fly thru old chap. But that was it.......just a fly thru............... just like the poor excuse from the RAF Typhhon crew who had been 'too busy' to come up with a proper display as it was not on the 'priority' list.

Well, I'm sorry that the RAF deem it not a PRORITY to show the people that have paid for the jet what it's capable of.......cheers taxpayer but we can't be ars*d (that will keep Danny P happy)

Prima Donna's.

Can't wait for this weeks RAF trimming...(he he) abiw may be out of a job!!!!

Talking

Grimweasel,

You clearly have no idea of what it takes to work up and authorise a fast jet display routine. Seeing as the jet has been with the Operational Evaluation Unit for about six months I thought it a very credible display of the jets agility. After the comments on it's Cosford and Waddington dislay I was expecting a dull straight and level fly through, the take off and high energy turns were a revelation to this old F-4 driver, thanks guys!

Oh, and as someone who is a not inconsiderable tax payer, I am more than happy that the guys on 17 Sqn are concentrating on getting the jet cleared and into service rather than faffing around with authorising and clearing a full blown high energy turning and burning display routine.

All this at the same time as they have 2 jets deployed to Singapore, thanks again guys!

Edited by Pr00ne to add;

Grimweasel you appear to be a bit of a stirring tw*t?

I caught the four ship fly past and the tac demo on sunday and thought the herc boys did rather well. And why were your static a/c stuck right at the end of the display line ?

A question for ABIW, do you ever practice multi ship displays or was the fly past all you were allowed to do? Would of been great to see four alberts doing there stuff.

Unhappy

Definition of flying display?

Series of linked manouevres in front of the public or something like that.

Typhoon not a display? standby for the fun police to get involved.
