Medication Change
Hi Guys, I知 asthmatic but stable and got my class 1 this year. Now I need to change inhalers but I知 concerned how long this will class me as unfit for, can anybody shed some light on this?

This does not constitute medical advice. If you're just using a puffer, then you "should" be ok. Where the medical folks get twitchy is if you need to take oral steroids. (eg prednisolone).
From the UK CAA's medical section. Respiratory
"Asthma medication: Oral steroids are disqualifying for certification. Inhaled beta 2 agonists, anticholinergic medication, corticosteroids and cromoglycate are acceptable for certification. Leukotriene receptor antagonists, such as montelukast, will be considered on a case by case basis.
