Class1A Medical - Advice and Feedback

Hello,

I am in the process of booking my Class 1A Medical and have a few questions

First of all, Is the only place you can get a Class 1A certificate down in London? I see a lot of people saying how they had to head down (or up) there and stay over in a hotel to get one done and pass which i presumed meant there isn't any facilities anywhere round the country that do them

2nd more on the procedure itself, how did people find it? I wont lie, im a little bit of a wimp when it comes to get blood taken. Did people find it tough and a little horrible? I kind of want to know what im heading for when i book and go

Fingers crossed i should pass as I dont think there anything wrong with me but here goes!

any advice or recommendation would do!

I can't find any reference to Class 1A either. Is it something new?

The medical itself is pretty straightforward. If you are fit and don't collapse after running up stairs you'll probably be OK. GL.

There are three AeMCs in the UK. They are in Heathrow, London and Gatwick.

Contact details on the CAA website.
