Citation Excel Ratings.
I had an interesting phone call last weekend from a guy from Greece offering me a job and type rating on a Cessna Citation Excel. Couldn't believe my luck......? I was a bit suspicious to say the least! After numerous phone calls and a couple of fax's from Greece the story had somewhat changed to a job offer after I had completed a sim check ride and put up enough money to cover my own type rating course!!!
Needless to say that I'm not into paying over money to anyone before either meeting them or before I have cast iron guarantees that I'm going to get what I have paid for!!!
I'm sure that I am not the first person that he has been approached in this way but I would be interested to know how many out there have had a similar experiences???

Sounds like the same scam ... wonder if it's the same bloke ... I'm sure juggernaut (a regular over on the instructor's forum) would be very keen to hear from you and see anything you've got on these gentlemen, they owe him a refund I believe

Fortunately I have a good friends who had pointed me in the direction of the BALPA magazine article and I have spoken with them since.
I wish I had seen the thread from FAACFI at the end of last year as it would of saved me a good bit of time and effort. It is obvious that the same scam is still going about!!!!
