Cool Looking for job

Hi guys!

I need some help/advice here.

I just turned 31 and lost many years working in ops/crewing/performance. Good experience al over the world but no promotion at all.

I need to find a job, do not mind where, but flying this time. (400hrs, frozen ATP, JAR, MCC, VFR Instructor rating) few languages spoken......

any idea? websites? ....?

thanks!

happy landings!!!

Im sorry mate but I agree with W-S.

There's a whole load of us out there looking for that first/second/ perfect flying job and why the hell should we, who put in a lot of time and effort making contacts, researching airlines, searching the web and all that good stuff then share all that with someone who says " I wanna job"

Well dont we all wanna job but the advise I give you is get off your arse and do what the rest of us do and make an effort. Jesus do you really think an airline is gonna want to employ someone who has no drive and passion to at least do a little bit of hard work?

Get with it mate.

You guys need to relax a little....
Bear in mind there is the word Network in PPrune so what the guy is doing in asking a simple question (but obviously not simple enough since you could not give a sensible answer), is actually networking.
Rather than jumping to his throat, I suggest you do just that as well. Who knows ? You help him today (with a link to ppjn.com perhaps) and next time, it might be him who will be able to help you out.

Happened to me on more than one occasion, even here on pprune where I got a job through another member I have never met in my life (but forever grateful).

With a little bit more hours than you (I had 550) asder_lax, I chose to go to Africa. Worked out well.

Happy Hunting

Thanks AMEX, apreciate your reply.

I was (am) a bit new in this WWW so did not really know how to find most of the websites, appart of using a search engine. Now at least I have a couple of websites to look at.

I´m getting into some time building right now.
I think Africa is not what it used to be. I lived in Nigeria 2 years ago and tried my best but it seems that it's not the same that in the 90´s. On the other hand I just got in touch with some people in south Africa.

I guess the problem is not lack of hard work or passion, but as ussual you have to know someone who knows someone, who knows someone who owns a company or have some some friend in the high spheres!

Good luck and happy landings to all!
