their original newsfeeds advertising the future flyers program stated they wanted 90 pilots over the next 5 years.
so yes, there is every reason to believe this program will reopen again for 2025. Last August was the first year of the campaign.

This is a seriously competitive recruitment process, we are all competing against each other.

Anybody else received a rejection email already? Surprised they are sending them out already before even finishing all the interviews... must have gone much worse than I thought

Thanks! I was in the first few days, so heard back I suppose within 10 days. Just wondering if anybody else is in the same boat as it took much longer last year (3+ weeks).

Ah, hate to say but its good to hear its not just me! They're obviously just trying to rule out as many as they can as early as they can. Thanks everyone and best of luck. Try to remember that this level of competition is unlike anything that you will likely ever experience (unless any of you are Olympic Athletes or something). Plenty of excellent people will have to be overlooked, so keep your chin up.

Was it mentioned at the assessment centre what the proposed intake is for this year?
I made it to the final interview stage last year but unfortunately wasn’t invited this year. It had been mentioned that additional funding had been secured for 30 cadets last year and I’m interested to know if that is the same again. Thanks

Rejection email already and was there last week.
What really sucks is the lack of feedback as i genuinely thought i did really well! I know it's impossible to tell anyone but even if they just gave us the section we scored lower on.
How are we meant to improve if we don't know what went wrong?

sorry to hear you haven’t progressed. I totally agree with your comments. Any feedback would be welcomed! I can understand it for those not reaching Dublin. But for those that made the afternoon cut, you are already in a small pool of candidates left. Just a few lines of feedback from that afternoon session would help everyone grow into better candidates for them next time. It just leaves you guessing and overthinking.
I wasn’t successful either and initially thought it went well but looking back and actually being critical, I don’t think I did nearly as well as I could have done. That said if you made it to the afternoon you were roughly top 2%. You have what they’re looking for and can do it again, just do it better next time, prep those questions revise the aptitude and nail the 8 competencies.
