The bond didn't stop that happening in the past and it won't stop it happening again. If anything I'd say they won't bring back the bond given the amount that left and never paid it off.

And there is no desperation that I'm aware of? The company are maxing out hours for captains yes but cadets? Not at all. In actual fact it was recently said in an internal communication that the company was overcrewed.

SIM First.
East Midlands SID 27 TNT 2N and ILS 27.
Initial climb 5000ft. Weather 300/10 8KM OVC0800 1013. Start in hands with A/T and FD to 5000. At 5000 A/T AND FD OFF. A few course changes. Climbing to 7000 with constant speed. Descent into the turn at 5000 with constant speed. Acceleration from 220 to 300 at the same altitute. Intercepting the Radial from TNT. Then information from ATC closed the area on our route. So PIOSEE or DODAR, or simply data analysis, conversation with the FO and making a decision directly in EAST MIDLANDS. ILS to 27, when visual approach LOC and GS OUT and landing on PAPI. Me and my colleague the same scenario. ( He had different decision making. Snow storm on destination airport.)
Total time in Sim 1h. Time of flying 20min.

Interviev.

Why ryanair?
When can I start and what is my notice period?
Do you have money for training?
Why a fleet of one type of aircraft?
Tell me something about yourself?
Why did you want to fly, have you flown before?
Have you had a difficult student (works as an instructor) and how did you deal with him?
Tell us about your previous jobs and your current one.
What engine in a Cessna?
How are the elevator rudders and ailerons connected in a Cessna?
When you turn with just the ailerons, the plane tends to...
If you want to make a turn using only the rudder, the plane...
During a turn, does the plane tilt or raise the nose?
Can a Cessna operate without a battery after starting (meaning the engine)
What is the name of the element that corresponds to this - Mangetos
Any questions?

Time - 25minutes.

Great atmosphere. The best recruitment I've ever been to. No stress, very pleasant and professional.
I got the job

Someone start at 05.02.2024? FR2417?
Regards!
Did you have to pay the whole TR or did you get the bond deal with Buzz?

Hello Guys,

Here's how you show some great CRM skills that probably you havent been taught in your MCC course :
  • As you change the MCP panel when you are the PM keep your finger on the nob, look at your colleague and call ..SET
  • Discuss with your partner in the briefing room that during the briefing you are going to ask him a question, for example "what you think the MSA is?"
Latest SID they use allot is EGBB RWY 33 DTY 4F / Approach ILS 33 EGBB

If you want to pass first time, check this out : Ryanair sim program

Apparently they are in desperate need of LTC's (40 minimum, allegedly), for training new cadets and Command Upgrades's

I am desperate to know how you can spend so much time writing nonsense. I would be bored after a while and I would choose to move on with more important stuff.

Please note that this is NOT the case.
Ryanair was recently in South America and many pilots were selected for NTR or TR positions, maybe just a few had dual citizenship. For all others, Ryanair DAC acted as a VISA sponsor for a UK skilled worker visa and you will be based in the UK (STN is a safe bet). On the other hand, seems they are not sponsoring visas in Ireland at this time (or are only doing it for DECs).

Ryanair have only ever brought captains from those countries. The cadet programme is exclusively for EU/UK citizens 6 those with unrestricted work rights. This is a thread for the cadets.

Guys, anyone know of any friends or been in the situation where you received the email stating:

AFA/RYAN AIR CADETS
' We regret to inform you that your online pre-assesmnet was unsuccessful '

It is not possible to reapply for the position, you should juts keep your current profile updated in case the airline is interested in your application in the future.

Just really gutted receiving the email this afternoon...

That sucks :/ Sorry to hear, onwards and forwards

Out of curiosity, at what stage of the assessment were you and was this for the Mentored Type Rating, Mentored APS MCC or else?

Just to clarify, when they says “it is not possible to reapply bla bla” it’s mean you cannot apply with new application. You should keep your profile
up to date. My friend got the same last year he keep the profile up to date and he is doing TR now
