FTE Jerez & CAE Oxford

Hi everyone,
I'm heading to CAE Oxford and FTE Jerez in a next couple of months to undertake assessments, interview and team exercise. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on which school is the best (I know I'll come to a conclusion myself, but I like hearing opinions) and if anyone could share examples of the kind of questions they'll ask in the interview? I've been studying for a while now and have gotten lots of useful information and tips but some sites can be quite limited with information. What sites would be the best for getting help preparing for both places? I'm willing to pay should the website require me to do so.

Not sure which one costs more. But Aer Lingus definitely seem to prefer FTE and Ryanair take from both. So Win win if you're Irish.

I would imagine Aer lingus will run another cadet scheme this year, which someone could drop out of so that'll put you in a good chance to slide onto it.

Use Pilot Assessment (Google it) it's about 20€ for 3 months use and should get you ready for the assessment. Also have a look at interview techniques.

Group interviews try and be the person taking the time and keeping the group on focus. If there is an argument put the topic to vote by the group and move on.

Hope that helps. Best of luck.

WestonFlyer, I'm very sorry for not replying to you. Only getting on to the site again now. I'm really hoping Aer Lingus will open another scheme this year as I want to fly for them. I've been studying for Oxford, Jerez and Aer Lingus. Pilot Careers is coming to Dublin on March 24th and Aer Lingus will be there apparently along with Oxford and Jerez so will be bringing my notepad to ask questions and take notes. I took a year out in 2017 after school as I failed my Oxford interview. Felt it was best to build my confidence by working and volunteering. I'm glad I have now because I've sat interviews, worked, etc to a level now that I know what to expect. One of the things was that I went too quiet in the group exercise so I feel capable of speaking more and even taking on a leadership role. I used Flight Deck Friend which was very beneficial but will have a look at Pilot Assessment as well.
