INFO: CTC Aviation to become L3-CTS Airline Academy
Just thought i'd provide a bit of information for prospective pilots on here to prevent any confusion in a week or two.
Parent company of CTC Aviation (L3 Technologies Inc.) today announced a the World Aviation Training Conferences (WATS 2017) that the simulation business L3-Link and both training organisations CTC Aviation and AeroSim would roll-up to become a unified organisation under the brand of L3 Commercial Training Solutions (L3-CTS - www.l3cts.com)
With this, CTC Aviation and Aerosim will join to form a larger organisation known as L3-CTS Airline Academy at some point in mid-May (www.l3airlineacademy.com).
As far as we've been told internally, training and all programs will remain unchanged unless told otherwise. There's no public press release yet, but as CTC Aviation have sent around official emails to their mailing list, thus being public, I felt I'd share the news here on here.
I'll post a link to the official press release when it comes out, but for now the links above serve as proof enough.
UPDATE: Roll-up officially publicised via Twitter.
