External candidates should not be put off from seeking a position at Flybe. Internal CPL holders were recently interviewed, and it was hardly a lengthy list as suggested by another poster.

I heard they interviewed for 12 days! Thats a lot of internal folk. Word has it they have to all go to the phillipines to see what kind of metal they are made from. If they survive, they get a fast track command?

LVL CHG,
True, it could be "integrated crowd" later down the line being interviewed... But an ex integrated student who has not taken whatever rubbish 'opportunity' was sent his way and has decided to work his or her way in via Cabin Crew or whatever has some respect from me.
I might question his or her sanity for paying twice as much for an integrated course; but they're not damaging the industry by following this path.
They've just paid a bit too much for their training and lined the pockets of OAA/CTC/FTE, in my opinion. But that's their choice and we pick which style of training that we prefer or whatever our circumstances dictate.
It's refreshing to hear that Flybe still entertain internal candidates, in this manner.
