Could anybody tell me if they were asked to assess to any interview with them recently? If they were could you tell me what the assessment consist of? I’ll be pleased to receive any answer.

QR Pilot Open Days

Hi Pilots,

First post for me on pprune..
Just wanna ask wether any of you attended a QR pilot open days or not?
Did you learn a lot??
Is it a kinda first step of the first step of the selection process (ie do they take your cv as they do for cabin crews???)
I wouldn't think about going or not if i was leaving close to the next event!!
I'd really appreciate your answers!

Just wanna clarify stg..
You mean that those pilot open days in a Hilton, Mariott etc... are in fact actual selection?
Sorry to be a noob on these open days but it sounds strange: while thousands of folks apply online and wait til 6months or more to get an interview, in fact you just need to show up in the nearest luxury hotel and you undergo the full selection (ie tech itw, sim 330..) without having applied at all???
