From FA to Pilot?

A pretty broad subject here, any thoughts on the transition from Cabin Crew to Pilot.

Short of spending 80K of my Dad's hard earnt cash I'd like to get some money together myself and perhaps a few contacts in the business .

I want to get a job in aviation, ATCA/Cabin Crew/ Rep (Probably cant live on the pay, plus i only want to work for a short amount of time, around 2 years)

Any people on here that have done said transfer, and have any views on it. Mainly looking at increased probability of securing a job in the company e.t.c and any negatives it may have?

It wouldn't do you any harm. On the positive side it'll give you some great experience. It will mature you and give you a realistic outlook on what it's actually like working as a pilot. Yep, you'll have to put up with the passengers but after 2.5 hours you'll get rid of them and have a new crowd to deal with.

Just don't go into it with the wrong attitude as you'll end up off the other cabin crew and not making very many friends.

It'll also give you the funds to pay for it yourself instead of having to blow your Dads money. Give it a go and good luck.
