Correct me if i'm wrong... but;
Online - Stage 1
Group Assessment - Stage 3
So surely this is now stage 3, not 4?
Any idea what the numbers have been cut down to for stage 3? (Or 4 if i am corrected..)

I suppose it could be either 3 or 4... I would go for 4 in that the application its self was technically a stage to be included. Not everyone who applied managed to get to the online test stage. That would make it a stage in the process if you ask me.

My understanding is that:
Stage 1 = Initial Application
Stage 2 = Online Assessments
Stage 3 = Group Exercises
Stage 4 = Interview/Re-Assessment
At our Q&A session someone asked how many would be getting through to the next stage (interview). The reply was that there was no set quota. If you satisfied the requirements after stage 3, you were through to the stage 4 interview.
Then we were told that there was another interview after that to whittle down the people successful at the stage 4 interview from whatever number it may be down to the final 20 selected for training. We were told first course was to begin at the end of Feb.

Do you really have so little to worry about in life that this is of any importance?

Air brake, yes your right, i sit here in my office dwelling on a daily, sorry, hourly basis on the number of stages in a sponsorship program to become an airline pilot, i knew there was something wrong with my life.

After the email from AL last week, informing us of the increase in their contribution, it does make this scheme sound very good indeed.
I wonder how many people are through to this stage, the final one a believe. Only 20 cadets will be taken.
I'm not sure however, if AL will be running the scheme this time next year like the BA FPP. It does look like the FTO could well be FTE in Jerez but I guess I'll find out when I go for the interview.

No solid evidence as to say it's going to be bang on 20 but the general thought here and on boards.ie is that 20 cadets will be the final number.
Could be wrong as I have no solid evidence...

I agree with iFlyPilot, The figure will likely remain the same but the bond will increase. There wasn't a definite answer however, as to how what the bond will be.
I guess it's something we could get cleared up at the interview. Time will tell.
