Thrust?

Hi, got interview coming up shortly, just 2 questions I cant seem to find the answer to.

1) 737-800 how much thrust comes from the N1 fan?

2) What do airlines have in place to guard their aircraft from reaching Mcrit?

Any help would be great.

Regards Bob.

hi,

I've got the b737NG CBT, it just says that maximum thrust can reach 24200Lb. The engines are CFM56-7 with Fadec, and the fan diameter is 61 inches.

Don't know about the mach limiting devices. If it helps, MMO is 0.82
