Where to do A320 rating?

Where is a good place to do a self-funded JAA A320 rating?

Also what are typical FO wages on the A320 in europe...just wondering if it would be a good investment...I am converting from a FAA to JAR ATPL and would like to work in europe.

At 8 years of age I don't think you're going to find a A320 op to employ you ... I may be wrong? I suggest you wait until your 21+ and try it then.

All that's left to do now is join the 'Am I too old?" thread.

Good luck.

OMG here we go again
Im pretty sure you wont change his mind or anyone elses for that matter.
No matter what people will continue to pay if that can get them started in aviation.
I payed for a TR myself and now im flying 73.
I would have loved to share ur view, and indeed i did to begin with.
But when u get to the age of 32 and u have been out of a job for 5 years i bet u attitude might change as well.
Everyone has to make up their minds based on their current situation, and theres not a chance that u can judge which way to go is the best.

Ha Ha, that was predictable!

“You are fcuking it up for everyone else nob wipe.”
- I don’t care…I am in aviation for ME, not for everyone else…if you don’t like that too bad…

“For Fu*k sake, how many times do we have to keep telling all the **** pilots that are out there not to pay for type ratings!”

- please inform me who you are too tell other people what to do??

I know numerous people who have advanced their career by paying for a rating. Good luck to them! If they have stepped on other peoples toes in doing so, too bad. That is life. Life is not fair and aviation certainly is not fair. Everyone owes it to themselves to do the best they can within the reality the industry they are in, or to do something else. I admire people who take some initiative and make things happen rather than complain about what other people are doing.

“Im pretty sure you wont change his mind or anyone elses for that matter”
-I hope he can change my mind, and he will do so the instant he tells me a faster, more sure way, for me, in my personal circumstances (which he does not know) to get a jet job in Europe…I welcome constructive suggestions.

Also it would be nice if anyone cares to answer my original questions…thanks…

Try emailing GCAT, they provide a320 757 and 737 courses, and offer a placement service at the end. But I believe they have no courses running at this very moment until their hold pool of rated guys reduces, I think there about 12 at the moment in the pool.

But your not... thats the point there are lots of people who love to air their viewpoint and add nothing to threads. PPRUNE is famous for it, which is why there is a vast number of member to this site but very few post reqularly, because its a waste of time engageing in childish conversations. Unfortunately due to the frustration Jerry is under trying to get that illusive job, he has bitten...
If you cant ATFQ dont bother posting... that would cut down the post by a third at least on this site

NOT in Spain

YES ,That would be nice not to pay for a TR, but I understand that if you do it ,its not because you have just 30000Euros to waste are you ..?.
wherever you do, DO NOT do it in Spain , it can be cheaper , but only in the short time ,the quality of training is not good enough, I would suggest ,UK ,or Germany but by no means Spain .
Good luck
