I concur, It might be brilliant however, If you're considering it I'd get in touch with EAAPTS and prehaps some major schools in the UK and find out if they've heard of it.

Hi ppl152

I've seen the website and it doesn't look too pro. However, there is a contact number address at the very bottom of the page. Try calling and, as suggested, do some background checks.

I have had a little dig about them, as it seems a good scheme, and as said, if it seems to go to be true, which in parts it does, then its may well be one of those scams that crop up from time to time.

I rang the number, no answer,

The address linked to the domain is

Training and Leisure Consultants Ltd
Reeds
The Street
Benenden
Cranbrook, Kent TN17 4DB
UK

The Address on the website is the same...

The domain was created in late 2005, 6th Dec 2005...

So suppose it adds up so far...

There seems to be a similar website from them...

http://www.plane-speaking.com/about.html

this website has the same address as above on the page but its registered too...

Training and Leisure Consultants Ltd
Little Manor
Staplehurst Road
Frittenden, Kent TN17 2EA
UK

This domain was created in late 2002, so thats what they say, they have been going some years, and they have, four...

They are in Yell too

Training & Leisure Consultants Ltd

Reeds, The Street, Benenden, Cranbrook, Kent TN17 4DB
Tel: 01580 240100

Classification:
Aviation Consultants

Now here is the little more interesting bit, but its all pretty normal for most UK companies...

There LTD Company is registered to another address...3rd one

I rang around lunch, so could be that they was doing the normal thing, and having lunch. =)

I am going to try get more info from them, i cant find any of the alias's on PPRuNe but they may well offer what they say...

Even if they are legit, I don't think what they offer is particularly special. Reason-being you get you ME/IR stuck onto the end thus limiting your ME time potential. Not a good thing.

Being guaranteed a FI job isn't bad I suppose if you want to be a FI, but it would appear that airlines rarely recruit FIs as much as they used to and, furthermore, why would they recruit a FI with minimum ME time? And are the 1500 hours guaranteed?

After all, you are paying for you training. It's not a sponsorship!

Well, that's my interpretation anyway

If you can bring more info about it... more than welcome.

It still looks suspicious to me but.
