Small details are big details

...This is meant to be a helpful point and I appreciate that this is an informal forum, but if some peoples attention to detail is indiciative of the content of their applications to airlines, then Im not surprised you haven't got jobs yet!

If I was recruiting pilots at an airline I would instantly toss out any CV's / letters from anyone who had not bothered to spell the company name correctly.

It is not flyBE

It is flybe. - with a full stop at the end.

Make the effort!

Flight international plus almost evey national newspaper is guilty of this error but is still surprises me that there are pilots who get it wrong.

prob30 - We underwent minor 'brand value' changes earlier this year, and the correct format is now 'Flybe' with an upper case F and no full stop at the end.

If you follow Will964's link to our website you will see it for yourself. With that in mind, do you have a CV in our pile which I can toss out?
