Question Any news from next Thomas Cook interview?

Good evening everybody!

As you already know Thomas Cook is going to recruit some F/O's in the next few weeks, my question is, has anyone been already called for the interview? If so, how is it like?

My experience is limited, over 500 hrs piston time with 100 hrs on ME, don't know if they usually hire low time pilots like me though.

By the way, if anyone holds the A330 type rating plus some ETOPS exp, there's a company here in Spain recruiting, anyone interested just reply!

Good luck mates and thanks in advance for the help.

Snoop

I was wondering that. Phoned them up the other day and naturally they were very busy. Its a case of being patient. I've had a few of years of being patient so whats another few weeks.

Goog luck!

PS: Many of us are already "patience experts"!! Two or three more weeks won't bother

TOO LATE for Thomas Cook

As expected there was an overflow in candidates.
The 3 Capt and 3 F/O spots are almost filled.

The 3 spots for low time ab initio's are already assigned to. These 3 lucky bastards have just started their rating.

Better next time (I know may hear this for the last 2-3 years).

I guess it's just a question of who you know to get a place when there are only 3 low hour F/O vacancies. At least things seem to be moving..... I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Ananas,

Just to let you know that Thomas Cook have plenty of well qualified F/O's for Command conversion, and so we will not be recruiting direct commands! Yes, we are recruiting for the RHS.

Good Luck, and keep plugging away!

Too true Diplomat. Good luck to those who join.

I am returning from a two year career break elsewhere and am thoroughly looking forward to it again.

I'm not sure Ananas is talking about the same airline. I suspect he means Thomas Cook Belgium as opposed to Thomas Cook UK which this thread is about.........?

Confused!

I spoke with the recruitment office at Thomas Cook last week and was told that there are still slots for both LHS and RHS and that I could expect to be called for interview soon.

Does anyone have the definitive answer on whats really going on. The ad in Flight definitely stated that there were vacancies for both seats.

Help!

Anyone got a contact number/e-mail?

Are these LHS positions temporary or permanent?

M.85,

I know you are very happy about your employment opportunity and that you will make the most of it. Congratulations.

However, many of us are still struggling here and don't feel indifferent about the situation like you, so please understand the mind-set that you have only just left behind.

Sincerely,

Gusty
