Britannia sponsorship this year? Yes or No?

It was about this time last year that Britannia advertised for applications to its sponsorship scheme in conjuntion with BAE systems in Jerez.

I was just wondering whether anyone knew if Britannia were running the scheme again this year?

September is the traditional time for Britannia, FlyBe, Air2000 to announce their sponsorships.

Britannia ran last year, FlyBe ran last 2 years and Air2000 well it hasn't run for the last 2 years and there is not much chance of running this year either.

Keep an eye out in Flight etc

Flybe done through Cabair, they are probably the hardest 'aptitude tests', in fact would use the term aptitude loosely as they appear to be who knows more about Physics and Maths incl the formulas than testing actually aptitude.

It will cost u roughly £32k but you do get a job at the end of the course!.

Slightly surprised Britannia ran last year and not this year, perhaps it hasn't worked out as much as they hoped/ or too many type rated guys out there looking for jobs

Cool

Sagey,

from inside the machine your last comment is closer. the cadets are progreing well but the market has done yourselves no favours as there is a large number of rated and jet qualified guys and girls out there for us to recruit from.

Having said that as people move up the tree there are always spaces below.

Good hunting!
