BA 757s sold for cargo conversion?
British Airways has confirmed that its 11 remaining mainline 757s will not go to OpenSkies but instead be sold for cargo conversion.
Any idea where they are going?

Fed Ex is in the hunt for the 757, they have $2.6 billion in the bank and are looking for an 80 aircraft 757 fleet. Mobile and Singapore have the conversion lines up and running. My bet....Fed Ex

Check the word " Could "
We at brussels are about to get training on loading B767's very soon
when the 767's arrive they wil be flying with DHK registration
the routings should be EMA-JFK , BRU-LOS , BRU-JFK
we are also about to get a B772 a few days in the week for the BRU-LOS-LEJ-BRU flight
thats all i know so far, i only post what we hear on the briefings each day ...
The LH8285-8284 wil stop flying the routing JFK-BRU-EMA-JFK end June
Thanks in advance

This is not really the place to be washing the dirty laundry is it
Putting conspiracy theories aside, I have not heard a single rumour from anywhere that counts to suggest that DHK will be getting anything other than the 3 763s at present.

Mafferick,
Sorry to burst your bubble, but BRU will not be seeing the B777F - they will be deployed on routes to the far east. As for the B767F, the planning bods still have their thinking hats on. The bird haven't got the legs to carry a full payload (not that such a thing exist in the present climate, but still) direct from BRU or LEJ to JFK or, even less, to ILN. The trans-atlantic flights will see the return of our old friend the Diesel Eight, but eventually it's not outside the realms of possibilty to envision the B767F operating trans-atlantic, not directly from BRU or LEJ bur rather from EMA. There are, however, connection issues involved in that scenario, but that's a different story.
As for your comments regarding EMA complaining, suggest you keep the dirty laundry out of public view, and raise your concerns somewhere they can be properly addressed.
To the best of my knowledge, the outstanding portion of the B767F order (3 frames) has been deferred. They'll arrive, eventually, but not as per the original schedule.

FedEx are looking for around 80-85 757's and their preference is the 535E4 powered version so I guess these would fit in. However, they have/intend to purchase some powered by PW2000's also if not enough rollers available.

Are those FedEx 757s supposed to be on the european network out of the big CDG hub? A while ago (before the crisis) FDX was planning to open a big crew base at CDG with lots of B757s.

No, the FedEx crew domicile in CDG (along with the 757's replacing the current A310) was cancelled way before the downturn hit. They sent A300-600's instead but kept the odd A310 in CDG.
