Arrow Two killed in training flight near San Deigo USA, Instructor was British.

ITV Teletext states that a British Flying Instructor and a pupil have been killed in an airplane crash while training south of San Diego CA, Instructor named as Sebastian Guy Farrow of Sussex England.

My condolences to the relatives of both deceased.

Has anyone else more information on this tragic event?

Britons killed in California crash

Two Britons have been killed in a crash in California. The two - an instructor and student - died when the 152 they were flying came down in a field on an Indian reservation. They were from the Anglo American flying school, and had flown from Gillespie Field. The crash happened thirty minutes into an hour-long flight. No cause is yet known for the crash.

The instructor has been named as Sebastian Farrow from Sussex; he was an experienced flyer with over 1000 hours. His student has not yet been named, but is believed to be in his late 20s. He had been with the school for two weeks, and had just over 20 hours logged.

Our deepest sympathies go to the friends and relations of those involved.
