Question WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN SOUTH

I'd hate to be spreading a duff rumour, but this one seems to have legs. Can anyone cast light on what is happening at the south coast FTO? I've heard:

From a friend who was hired then made redundant recently that they have some money problems.

At work that we were going to buy them but pulled out for some reason.

That the CAA were peed off with them - something about licence applications.

No smoke without fire, or have I the wrong end of the stick?

If we are talking about the same two schools, this is my understanding of the situation.

RUMOUR has it that FTO No1 is indeed not as healthy as it could be and that FTO No2 has shown vulture type interest in purchasing No1 but No2's parent company, not being too happy with No2's finances and have refused to invest the capital required.

Apologies for the cryptic msg but following recent events on these forums I am treading very carefully

No problems that I have heard. Sounds like the sort of thing to come out of Makum d'money Training School, Porridgeville. The rumour about a buy out existed when I worked at OATS. M.D. didnt leave much in the kitty when he left.

Great school SFT, they don't charge anything like as much as Oxford and it has a lot of happy ex OATS staff. Happy to have left OATS that is.
