I have a theory on this……. I recon that the airline was trailing the PPS flight planning system and the aircraft were on a route to alternate that the system gave them, as it allows you to fly under the TMA especially in mountain areas…

Well Ghost-Rider I can tell you what it has to do with Ops/Disp/Crewing.

Who was on shift that day and subsequent days working for airlines that were affected????? The nightmare of all disruptions!!!! Who personally knew crew members involved ???

The repercussions are still, to this day, being felt in our industry with job losses.

Who is to blame ??? That doesn't matter. But throughout history someone somewhere will have a gripe against something.
