Aircraft performance Engineering

Dear Friends

I am a flight dispatcher and i am scheduling to join an Aircraft performance engineering course any suggestions and after the course can i perform the job of Aircraft performance engineering or any extra qualifications is require

No current enginnering qualification just a flight dispatcher license and a basic performance course

No specific need for formal qualifications as routine performance scheduling work is pretty straightforward - needs are attention to detail and good housekeeping.

However, an undergrad level competence in mathematics will facilitate the work when you come to looking at generic studies of this and that option.

For a good grounding, the Boeing performance course although this would probably be a bit of an overkill. Otherwise generally OTJ training.
