Post Multiple Operating Weights - New CAA policy

For those of you who have not heard, the CAA SRG have very recently changed their policy on the use of multiple operating weights, i.e. the use of a MTOW which is lower than the airplane flight manual limiting weight, for the purposes of reducing the cost of Eurocontrol and airport landing fees. This scheme is somewhat different from the previous one but does offer the ability to reduce enroute charges where there is little need for the use of and declaration of the highest AFM max take off weight.. .. .I understand a FODCOM will be issued shortly
