info about the EASA B1 licence
Hi all
i am interested on getting the b1 EASA licence.
Speaking with B1 certified engineers i was told that the best place in Europe to take the exams is the SRTechnics in Zurigh.
After taking all the exam for getting certified i have to show that i had 5years experience as a mecchanic. Is that right?
My question is who will issue my B1 licence?
How does it work for the type rating?
Do i have to do all the 5 years with the same company?
Every extra info is much appreciated

So after the 5 years of experience and the 17 exams done i just have to go to the CAA in UK or in any other one in Europe like ENAC in Italy and apply for it.
Then after that do i have to do another a training for the type rating?
Coz on the web i read something like the last year of the 5 years of your experience got to be on a civil aircraft and that will give you your first type rating.Have you ever heard something like that?
And another question how does it work about recording your jobs on the log book??
thanks
