ebay problems.

I seem to have a bit of a problem with ebay. I can't seem to access the site at all, the only thing that works is via the incognito window (takes you back to play school), but If I try and sign in it freezes.

I've done the usual, spybot, different browser Etc. Everything else seems normalish. Any ideas?

Working fine from here.

Do you have a laptop or a smartphone that you can test it from, to see if it's your PC or your account?

Do you have a different browser on your PC? I have IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Waterfox: if one misbehaves, one of the others will work if the problem is my computer, but not if it's the website.

Thanks for the reply Keef. It seems to be just my laptop, all well on the others in the house. So it's not my account as such.

I presume that something's got into the laptop, but nothing else seems to be affected. It's affected on both ie10 and chrome. The frustrating thing is that nothing shows up with any form of bug hunting.

All a bit odd.

It may be a setting in that PC, rather than a virus.

Have you tried Malwarebytes, just in case your virus protection has a blind spot (none of 'em score 100%)?

Does https://signin.ebay.co.uk/ make any difference if you're using http:// ?

The link you provided is fine, until I sign in, directly that happens, it just loads until it times out.

I'll give the Malwarebytes a go.

Thanks for the advice Keef, much appreciated.
