Air Jamaica or Air Jamaica Express minimums?

What are the minimums for Air Jamaica Express and Air Jamaica? Do you require turbine time to get on with Air Jamaica Express?

Thanks...

Look for that stuff on the Hiring page at http://www.caribbeanalpa.com/, and/or ask a question on their Discussion Forum.

Good luck...

Minimums at Air Jamaica are a Jamaican Commercial or ATPL licence, 250 hrs TT, Mutli-engine/Instrument ratings and a Class 2 medical. I believe the same is for Express although thier time requirements are 1200TT. For both companies, no turbine time is required for employment, however, you must hold a Jamaican passport or otherwise have the right to live/work on the island.

The requirements aren't all that stringent-- the main thing is that you are Jamaican and actually have commercial or ATP licenses converted to the Jamaican standard. Not Jamaican? No go unless you are an individual with plenty of experience in the left seat on type. Even then it may only be a contact position.
