what happened in the cabin ?

Hey everybody and especially our UK pprune members,

A friend told me to have a look at this website with pictures of a beat up easyjet 737 which flew through a hail storm and returned for an emergency landing soon after. Any easyjet crew here able to tell a brief story of what happened in the cabin during this incident ? Any damage in the cabin ? lights flickering ? paniced passengers ? What happened ?

My God!

I happened to be in SYD when there was an enormous hail storm (about 4 years, or so, ago). Some complete a$$hole parked their car in my undercover park that night (this is another story completely) and mine was therefore parked on the street. Needless to say my car was (literally) a total 'write off'. The insurance assessor came to visit me and we were looking at the size of some of these dents which covered every panel of my car. Most were about 10cm in width. To demonstrate the force behind these dents, he grabbed a hammer and belted my car with this almighty, full forced swing. I was totally shocked to see that this man was only able to leave this tiny little dent not worth mentioning.

I cant imagine the hammering this aircraft got to sustain such damage!! Those pictures are just amazing!

Qwannas - Was it before or after the guy hit your car with a hammer that it was deemed a write-off?

I must know!
