JAA Cabin Crew Training

Have any of you noticed that since JAR removed the line training and checking of new (juniors) cabin crew; The standards have realy slipped?
New crew are cocky, they don't know the mistakes they are making etc. The No. 1s are expected to be line trainers and help teach the new crew with 4 supernumery sectors. With crew moral low and no extra pay to guide the new crew the situation just gets worse.
At BMI Baby they are treating new and old crew alike Flight Supervisor with 6 1/2 years service demoted to junior when B. Midland left EMA just to keep her job! Treated like cr@p worked every hour she was allowed. Also FSM No.1 on long haul A330 asked to transfer to Baby as has family issues. Answer: No unless you don't mind being demoted and going to the bottom of the waiting list for upgrade. This Guy has worked for B. Midland for over 16 years.
Companies can (qouted from BMI Baby Management) 'Turn and burn' cabin crew. Its now a joke Cabin crew used to be treated with respect as a proffesional position. Not now; now they will work you to the bone and when you complain they will say 'leave
then'. The cost of your annual refresher is no less than the cost of an initial course.

The CAA has a lot to answer for.
