I may be wrong and this information is not going to help but I'm VERY sure that the last few applicants that were still in were NOT married.

Emirates Brisvegas

Having now had time to digest the "emirates experience" I would like to express how much I enjoyed the day and the number of great, and well-groomed people I met.
As it was my first ever airlines interview ever, I was surprised by the magnitude of the occasion, in terms of the sheer number of people who showed up. Coming from an Internationalist and largely self-employed background I felt that I had a good chance of progressing to the final 20 and was a little mystified at the wildly differing personality types who were eventually chosen. Moreover, I was perplexed as to why some others did not make it through to the final 20. That said, I was not privy to anyone else's CV.

It's only human nature to want to know how many of the final 20 actually make it through to Dubai, so if anybody out there in the internet ether...has any answers, I, for one, would love to know!

No doubt, I'll see a few familiar faces for the next series of interviews and be better prepared for the next step...

THERE IS A BRIGHT LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL - YOU

Airline Interviews are like a surfing competition. The best competitor on the day wins. Which doesn’t mean that the others competing aren’t as qualified, they may have been wiped out too soon to shine.

So for all those who have not made it through to first place, get back on your board and show them exactly what you have got for you will eventually come in first and reep the rewards.

curious???

All i can say guys is keep up hope, and make sure you apply again in 6 months!! I'm sure it'll be woth it ,

One q's i have is how many rounds did they have, very curious as in melbourne we only had two rounds, and the people that were left after the first round were automatically invited to the final interview, which was held in the coming days after the interview. We were also told that it could be up to two months after our final interview that we would find out whether or not we were success ful...the brisie interview sounds very different to this

very curious????:hmm

hmmm... I don't think the interview process was any different from Melbourne, though it seemed like there may have been 3 stages coz the whole exercise wasn't wrapped up until around midnight.

Have written to one or two people who made it through to the "final 20" but as yet, have not received a reply. I hope it's not the case that Emirates have instructed "their 20" to refrain from Liaising with anybody outside the final interview stage?

Who knows?
