Has anyone got an invite to Manchester yet in November? my app is still "applied" I fear it may never change.

Also supposedly starting on the 28th Oct., although I still have a lot to do befre I get over there. Aso spoke to Ryan ,who said it would not be a problem if I needed a little longer. Anyone out there start laterthan they were meant to and were there any problems?

Few weeks ago,I send to ryan my contract signed in on all pages (which were 6 pages)...not only the decalaration letter!
Well,after sending your medicals I think you don't have to do anything,just wait for your details departure.
I'am wainting too...and my joining date is 21 st!!!

I really don't know if swimming is important to pass the Etihad training,but I 'm sure that it's very useful for a cabin crew to know swimming...Now,I am surprised because even during my assessment day, they did not talk about it,mmmm even if it's relevant information...maybe it's not important for them if they did not mention anything about it,but I think you don't have to be afraid of water(at least),cause I guess we will have a training in the swimming pool.

I just wrote an email to tell Ryan that I want to join any date after Dec 2th because I want to join my brother's wedding.
I didn't get his reply yet, I hope I can postpone. But he didn't tell me the joining date yet.
I sent my medical checks and declaration letter on oct 5th, and also I need to give my current company 1month notice.
I hope they'll understand me.

Hi everybody I attented a Emirates open day and I reached the final interview but then rejected.

So now I am thinking about Etihad, what are the differences between Emirates and Etihad? Do Etihad offers accomodation for their crew also?

And how is Abu Dabi compares to Dubai?

Assessment day in Paris

Hi, I was called to attend an assessment day in Paris.
I confirmed that I was interested, but they havent sent me an email with all the info yet. The assessment is on october the 19th. Is it normal they haven't written back to me yet?
And I was also wondering how the tests go.
Are they really really strict? Do they really check your weight?
I'm in a normal weight range, but also pretty tall for a girl, which makes me heavier. Hope that won't be a problem.

Hey guys, just had friends go through the recruiting day. The swim question was asked of them so guess ya now gotta be prepared to be able to swim.

If you haven't heard back about your day, send email to [email protected]; you can email there, too, if you don't hear from Ryan. This is a long weekend in the UAE so there might not be much response during the holiday, but keep trying!



My friends just kept emailing recruitment that nothing happened after their day and I guess the recruiters just asked Ryan. Heck, they all work in the same place, so it's probably easier for them to find each other!

Don't lose hope...As I am still hoping for my luck coz' I haven't heard from them until now and its been two weeks already since that e-mail.

As long as they didn't send you a regret one it means they'll process it but not at this time because of some issues which is on their side.

Moshi moshi~~ I think the contract is the same and basically you just have to wait for them to reply back, when I sent my med stuff over it took them about 2 weeks to call back with my joining date and contract so now that I've done everything I'm just waiting for my ticket over~~ yay

Hey guys,

Finally I received Ryan's email.
The contract says that my targeted joining date is 21st of October.
However, I can't join on that date because of personal matters
I called him after that several times, but he wouldn't answer
I also sent him emails that I would be able to join after 1st of November
which I think is 4th of November.....

He wouldn't answer that email either....
I have 5 days to send him back the signed employment offer, and it has been 4 days... I guess I should just sign it and at the end of the page on the declaration page, I would write 4th of November on the blank line. Will that be a problem? I don't know what to do since he's not responding!!!!
I guess I'll try to call him today once again and send the signed contract!

What happens if I don't send them the signed contract within 5 days as mentioned on the offer mail?? Wow this is really confusing I'm just in a panick mode!!!!!

Hey Guys, No still havnt received any flight details or my visa. Zari & Ryan said I should receive everything via email on weds or thursday this week.

So pumped, only have 2 more shifts left at work..
I have no idear what to pack?
