BA Rebranding ...

Have just read in a magazine that someone showed me and wondered if anybody else heard this :

"British Airways is likely yo consolidate its non-Heathrow short-haul operations under a new name by the end of 2005 with the merger of Citiexpress, its wholly-owned subsidary, and its Gatwicks shorthaul business under a new brand mooted to be BA Regional Express"

As quoted in Aviation News - january 2006 issue

There seems to be something going on at city express but I do not know what.

I think BA missed an opportunity to merge all shorthaul operations into City Express when they took them over. They might have even been profitable running the shorthaul operation

BACX can't manage to make a profit on their own! I don't know why you think their management have some sort of messianic quality that would transform BAs short haul business.
