cabin crew with Singapore passport- still need visa for India ?
Hi Everyone,
Need help with these questions....very soon.
I hold a Singapore passport and about to finish training with a Canadian carrier next week.
I've been calling and trying to get info from the Consulate in Canada and their answers are very vague.
We were told by our company that Canadian passport holders don't need a visa when their name is part of the crew manifest. However the Consulate e-mailed me saying that they issue visas for cabin crew .I had asked them how much is the visa as I need to send a certifeid cheque,No reply to that question. They have like 5 different types of visas .
If there is anyone who has a Singapore passport and works as cabin crew with Emirates or SIA,can you please let me know how you guys do it ?
I guess that I'm confused coz' Canadian and Singaporeans need a visa for India when they travel as visitors but when they are a Canadian crew they don't need it ? How come Singapore passport holders( cabin crew ) need it.
Personally , I think that the people in the Consulate have never dealt with this situation before.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thank You
