Crash Tenders at Avalon
First time user ,however what do the proffesionals think about the lack of fire crew at Avalon ?.Seems a bit scary when the nearest fire crew are 11 minutes away , must be a concern for flight crew and to the public, but then if the public did not hear the news that day then they would not know about the situation. Is this about the owner doing it on the cheap (Avalon Airfield) or is it about safety for airline Staff and the commuters

To me this guy sounds like another journalist trying to get people in the industry to 'dish some dirt' yet again.
I wouldnt bother replying. Ask yourself why would someone with 1 post be asking about the fire service in a cabin crew forum and also asking what the pilots think!? How would the cabin crew know?! its the flight deck whose concern it is regarding fire cover!
What a Pathetic individual!
Fly safe all
