Yeah it's prety good. Companies like Touchdown offer a good range of holidays to all over the world.
On the other hand, most of the big charters are an arm of a tour operator. For example I work for Britannia, who are part of the Thomson group. (or TUI as some brainwashed people would tell you!!) You may find that airlines like us offer their employees discounts on holidays taken with the in house operator. I can tell you that the discounts Britannia offer on Thomson holidays are well worth having!
Great if you want to take package holidays. I still think you get a better deal working for the Scheduled carriers though!
