I have been waiting since I completed the questionnaire on the 2nd of February. I applied in Jan for Melbourne base too, first time that I apply. Some people got recommended by QF international crew that's why they jumped the queue or they have been in the process longer. Someone mentioned here new assessment days will be held in September. Let's not lose hope

i went for my medical on friday last week and received a call this morning asking if i was ok to start ground school on Monday. They said that they will be emailing contracts and information today. i applied for Melbourne QantasLink but am being sent interstate for ground school.
This group has definitely helped me during the process with putting my mind at ease and seeing everyone go through the process and ask questions. Thank you all so much!
Fingers crossed that you all hear about medicals and get the golden call for ground school soon. Wishing you all the best

Congrats that is so exciting!! Are they sending you to Brisbane for training? How long is it expected to take? I believe the Sydney facility was knocked down after the land was reclaimed for a tunnel project. Hence why Sydney international crews will no doubt be trained in a Dubai. Enjoy GS.
