I dont know anyone who had approval in progress and got rejection mail. I think the reasn why they havent got to you may be because they are prolly attending to people who have already had their golden calls. Lets all keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best!

portal lock out
hey, the same thing happened to me in regards to being locked out of my profile. I have been locked out for about 1 week now. I was at the Sydney interviews which were the weekend before the Auckland ones. I already know through this forum someone whose gotten an approval in progress status who was in FI interview group and hasn't been locked out of their profile so I don't really know why this happens or even if it means anything...
Does anyone have the number to the HR department? ( a recently used number) I searched the forum for numbers and I've tried two numbers and they both just ring out. Any help would be appreciated

hello, I got through to the recruitment officer handling my file in Dubai. I asked him about the portal lock out and he said that he can't explain as to why this happens???:s He just told me that my application was still being looked at, and to also send through more casual photographs. So yeah just thought I would share this, cause I know I look to this forum for the answers to most of my questions regarding this recruitment process. Hopefully we get access to our portal soon!

Accommodation hmmmm
A new dot point popped up under 'Travel Arrangements' today:
"The Accommodation arrangements are currently in progress & will be made available shortly"
Did everyone get this statement just right before they were allocated accommodation? Should I be praying hard now??

When sending more casual photos make sure, it's really really flattering ones with lots of make-up, like your prom night.And make sure to send a full lenght casual one. Send 10 really awesome photos, so they have a bigger choice, if you can.If your photos do not meet 'the requirements' you might have a 'approval in progress' status like me for 9 weeks!!!

Hmm.. With regards to the casual photos.. I submitted ones of me goofing around on the beach and on the subway station.. they seemed to accept without any problems..
