Corporate plane to Saudi Arabia

Hello and Goodmorning all,

I am planned to fly to Saudi Arabia in the next couple of weeks. My question is, do they still have some special requirements regarding:
- alcohol must be sealed with metal seals (red ones not blue)?
- femal Crews must be covered by an abaja ?
- Crew Visa upon arrival, max allowed stay within Saudi 96 hours?

Any more specialities you could think of?

Help on that very appreciated thanks

Call the FBO's in SA, or an international handling agent.

Yes alcohol should be sealed but doesn't matter what type of seal. Yes females must wear the abya. Crew can stay in the country for only 72 hours not 96.

Immigration procedures have changed and you no longer give up your passport when entering the country. They take fingerprints and you get a crew visa issued and keep passport until you leave. Extending beyond 72 hours is almost impossible. Make sure you have your Saudi permit in place before you go and that you have the number available in case ATC asks. If you have any specific questions feel free to send pm.

Talk to FBO about the seals, Ours were plastic BUT they have to be serialized.
Fingerprint is confirmed, first time is slow afterwards is very quick.
Abaya is... somewhat optional (Things are changing) tell the FBO to get you one if you go to Riyadh (just in case) and a scarf in the Arab world is always handy even for a guy!

I went there a few years ago (Riyadh). The Customs chap inspecting the seals wasn't bothered about the colour, they were numbered. He said I didn't have to wear the abaya on the ramp, just once I am off the ramp and in the building. I was also advised to carry my crew ID with me at all times to prove why I was with a man who was not my husband or brother.
There's special rooms for female crew/pax screening away from the men. My luggage wasn't x-rayed... ???
