CJ2

Hello everyone

Firstly i would like to say sorry if i have placed this in the wrong forum. I have a question if some of you don't mind answering. A taxi aviation company is using a Cessna CJ2+ for operations. They fly routes from all across Europe and northern Africa. Im assuming since its used for taxi aviation that there has to be a crew of 2. If i am right does the SIC have to be type rated and can he log hours on it?

Please and thank you for your time.

If the aircraft is used commercially in Europe it has to have two pilots, both need to be rated. That is my undertanding anyway.

any EU-OPS for a taxi (commercial) operator of any C525 (cj, cj1, cj2, cj3, cj4 (+ or not), has to be conducted with two type rated commercial pilots.

@bringsallyup: If you're sure money is changing hands, perhaps report them to the relevant national authority.
But be aware that some private jets may look very commercial in terms of many different seemingly random pax, but are actually private and legal.
