Handling and hotels for Paphos

Can anyone recommend a handling agent at Paphos, Cyprus?
Any hotel tips, we're there 3 nights?
Thanks,
Jez

Handling:

Skylink Services Ltd. Cyprus Executive Ground Handling

Hotels:

Cyprus Hotel - InterContinental Aphrodite Hills, Paphos
Elysium Hotel Cyprus - 5 Star luxury Hotel Resort
The Official Website for Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos Cyprus

The intercontinental Aphrodite Hills Hotel is out of town, great if you like golf, try to get a half board package in the club rooms, very relaxing. (Local cheap hire car will get you down town in 20 minutes and they will drop the car off at the resort for you).

Elysium Hotel is very nice, the internet is only available in the reception area, or the rooms close to the reception.

Amathus Hotel is at the opposite end of town to the Elysium, probably a shorter walk to the center of Paphos.

Full of Brit's eating fish and chips, watching sky sports and drinking Boddingtons...i don't know why they bother sometimes!

Enjoy

Skylink will usually try to book the Elysium for you and they have very good rates with them.

Skylink will tell you that permission is needed to land at LCPH or LCLK but you don't. It's the locals demanding that "permission" is sought.

Recommend Elsyium Hotel too

Thats probably a new record for the numbtees there.....permission is required , Skylink very $$$$$$$$$$
Try Abelair or Swissport might get a better deal.

Bring some suncream its really hot here middle of a heat wave , cant dispute the hotels recommended.

Does anyone know of any nice 4 or 5 star hotels that are cheaper than the Intercontinental but close as possible to Aphrodite Golf club as I have a wedding there in September.

Cambioso – If you get a chance, pop up to Viklari, ‘The last Castle’ (near Agios Geogios/Coral Bay) for lunch (as its not open evenings), a short drive north of Paphos.

Lunch is pretty basic and consists of BBQ Pork and Chicken with Salad and Chips and plenty of Greek house wine served under a covering of grape vines. The temperature cranked up last weekend, so its a great place to stay cool, relax and has great views down to the coastline.

A couple of tips:
Don’t get nominated as driver as its easy to overindulge.
Make a booking as it usually packed.
Ask the locals for accurate directions, but when you are close the road turns into a bumpy dust track. As you get close, the beach is about 100 yards to your left, keep looking up hill to the right as its easy to miss, or use the directions on the link below.

Akamas - Viklari Last Castle

Skyhighgirl – Take a look at the 5* Columbia Beach Resort at Pissouri Beach about 7-miles East of Aphrodite Hills.

Most people I know who visit love it and it has one of the best swimming pools I’ve come across. But Cyprus has become pretty expensive these last few years, although cheaper than Aphrodite Hills.

Columbia beach - joking I hope. Aphrodite Hills is actually cheaper and nicer.

Why dont you try Abelair Handling on 00357 24643535. Cheaper than most.

As Mattman stated, we (as we are based on the Island) are very surprised that you even managed to find parking for 3 days. The new airport management here are a shambles - PFO and LCA.

Guys, PM me before you come. Will meet up for beers!
