Tag to axe lear crews

Just heard that Tag UK is letting go of all of its learjet crews. Can this be true? Why would they do this when they are so profitable.

Do TAG provide the crew for the European Skytime aircraft? These seem to do more work than CPRI...

The Lears are owned by European Skytime who are moving to Manhattan. TAG do not have any other Lears or vacancies on other aircraft to offer the crew. EST have said they can move with the aircraft.

"Axing" sounds so much more dramatic I suppose

Not that I doubt this, but how does that work in practice?...right to live and work in the USA....can't take the job that could be done by a US resident and all that?

European Skytime

Tag have basically let go of the pilots, due to no internal vacancies at this time; 2x Learjets operated for the broker owned jets of European Skytime I believe, who are a very capable, dynamic team based in Glos aerodrome for over 10 years.
The aircraft where managed by Tag at Farnborough and Skytime have decided to take the aircraft and offer All crews positions with the same T & C's in order to keep tighter control of thier costs in an ever changing market place.
Good Luck to them,I think there may be a Ray of Light amongst credit gloom...........

Is there a Manhattan in Hampshire?

The only one I know of is some dodgey nightclub in Turk Town (Gosport for those of you who have never been, you lucky people!)
