Ferrying Airplanes

I wrote a piece today about a guy from Brisbane who is flying the first Cessna 400 to Australia from the west coast of California. Forty flying hours, 6,500 nm solo over the Pacific.

Great guy to talk to Garry Mitchell, but boy I wouldn't be doing it. Over land yes, but I don't swim and hate sharks.

C'mon, how many of you would do this if you had the chance, or why not? Be honest.

Not me, I'm the ultimate aviation coward! It would have to be at least a mutli engine turboprop, even then I'd be nervous! Good job the early pioneers had more balls!
