There's a small article in this week's Economist magazine about Aerion's supersonic business jet plans. It end with a comment about Paris to New York which made me wonder what route this craft would take? Would their planned aircraft ever be suitable for ETOPS?

well you don t need to be ETOPs below 100 000 lbs....which is exactly the wait of the G5 and Global express...will this airplane havier than this..I guess they willfight hard to not go over , but there is so much incoherence in this program that it remember me the initial dreamliner who was suppose to cruise at .92 ....now is supper efficient airplane...

This is partly achieved by emergency bleed air from the engines being directed directly into the passenger vessel bypassing the air conditioning system. Basically it is raw bleed air dumping into the cabin.

Now, if you want to trust that system I guess it up to the individual.
Then do airliners also have emergency pressurization raw bleed air system?

45 ton A/c at max ramp wght.
